LOGO DESIGNING:
To come up with an original logo, we first had to sketch some rough ideas. After a bit of brainstorming we transferred to Adobe Photoshop CS4 which we would be using for all our design work.Therefore, we first had to be trained on how to use this programme.The best way to learn was by doing practical tasks. However, during our print module we had already learned to use the various tools in Photoshop so designing was not a major problem. However, for designing the logo we had the option of using the Pen tool which we had not learned earlier in the Print module. Since we had to design the logo, we learnt the Pen tool and practiced a lot with it, but experienced quite some problems with it so we decided not to use it. But, we did come up with a logo that is simple yet appealing. Below is our final logo.

Wicked logo considering you guys have just began exploring the world of graphics design. The chosen color is very nice and does go well with the subject which is very important for any design work. Art work is simple yet the significance, in my opinion, is that it does give the look of something to do with care or medical facilities. Effects; none!! Not really I would say its very smart that you guys did not use built-in effects of Photoshop and created a simple yet very artistic effect using layers. The Font; well I would say it looks fine but it isn’t, as you guys are armatures I would let you off on that.
Gosh am not your tutor lol forgot that but if I was to rate this logo I would say 7 out of 10
